Easter Weekend The Patriots Band Two Thumbs Up- Morehead NC

What a great way to bring in Easter Weekend. Families at The Morehead City Country Club gathered for a fun egg hunt. Kids were delighted to run the grassy field and find treats all over- inside colored eggs!

Dancing to The Patriots Band Classic Soul and Beach Music was the perfect night cap to a Friday evening of fun and festivities.

The Patriots performed such classics at My Girl, More Today Than Yesterday, Soul Man, Knock On Wood, Midnight Hour, and Barefootin- a special favorite for the children who enjoyed taking off their shoes and dancing to the music.

Thank you to the Morehead City Country Club for making great memories once again.

The Patriots played all summer decades ago in Atlantic Beach as house band for one of the popular beach clubs. The beat goes on as the music carries these cultural classics into the future.

Nags Head Seafood Festival a huge party with The Patriots!

The Patriots classic soul band performed live at the famous Seafood Festival in Nags Head,NC.
The band grew up playing on stages all over Eastern North Carolina and The Outer Banks was a regular stop for years!

This very special appearance was welcomed by music lovers at the Festival.

The Patriots unique style of Beach Music included such classics as My Girl, Midnight Hour, Knock On Wood, Slip Away, and a solid hour of fast paced dance songs. The crowd danced and clapped along for the entire performance.

The Patriots music is a collection of Soul Classics loved by thousands and many of those songs are included in Beach Music. The sounds that stayed on the hearts and minds of millions of people visiting Coastal Carolina.

The Patriots Band started in 1965 as a small group of friends playing at local dances and get togethers. The Band grew to include brass and vocal harmonies that echoed throughout both States and Virginia and told the story of love, loss, and lasting friendships.

From The Roanoke River to The Neuse, Pamlico and Albemarle Sounds, to the Atlantic Ocean, The Patriots music is still a positive part of life in what is fondly called, God’s Country.

From Golf and tennis tournaments to birthday gatherings, family gatherings, special events such as a company Christmas parties, and Country Club seasonal events. The Band has played at hundreds of occasions celebrating special happenings.

UNC and State frat and sorority parties in Chapel Hill, Raleigh, and the Searle Center, Durham.

Military gatherings, open houses, and wedding celebrations.

The Patriots have traveled to Virginia, South Carolina, and North Carolina over the years. Performed on radio and television, and on stages in theatres.

Soul Pop And The Best of The Beach – The Patriots Band

Eastern North Carolina is home to memories made on the Crystal Coast, The Outer Banks, Myrtle Beach, Virginia Beach and every town from Fayetteville to Raleigh, Carrboro to Calabash.

The Patriots have played there. Country Clubs to Bars, Wedding events to Football game day parties. Events and Festivals all over Eastern North Carolina.

Once In A Lifetime Class OF 69 Reunion

The Plymouth High School Class of 1969 met for its 50th reunion on May 25 2019 at the Maritime Museum on Waters Street in Plymouth.

The Patriots provided music for entertainment and dancing after the 6pm dinner.

About 100 friends and family attended.

The Patriots Band played favorites from 50 years ago. Beach , Soul and Pop music familiar to all and loud as ever!

The Patriots had at our hometown Plymouth reunion show on Saturday.

The crowd was incredible—. But even better, we got to catch up with so many awesome friends—a blessing, for sure.

A wonderful night full of laughter, hugs, and remembering.

Thank each and every one of you for making it special.
It was a great reminder of the awesome blessing that family, friends, and real community are.
