Thank you Belhaven! Since the 1960’s we have shared good times and music. It was an honor and a real pleasure to continue the tradition July 3rd 2020.

The Black Bear Festival was a huge success. Thousands of happy festival goers enjoyed the sights and sounds of planned activities
all weekend along the Roanoke River in Plymouth.
The pre fireworks show Saturday night started at 7:30 with The Patriots Band playing Soul, Beach, and Pop classics for an enthusiastic crowd
gathered by the River’s edge. The Patriots played favorites as usual and entertained until 9pm followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
The music was reminiscent of the many dances and events through the years in Eastern North Carolina.
The Patriots have entertained from Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill to Virginia Beach and Myrtle Beach. The Band plays dances and special events
starting in the mid 1960’s. Original members are carrying on the tradition. Three generations are now enjoying the Patriots live music.
The NC Black Bear Festival brings a great boost to the area.

The Plymouth High School Class of 1969 met for its 50th reunion on May 25 2019 at the Maritime Museum on Waters Street in Plymouth.
The Patriots provided music for entertainment and dancing after the 6pm dinner.
About 100 friends and family attended.
The Patriots Band played favorites from 50 years ago. Beach , Soul and Pop music familiar to all and loud as ever!
One Band Facebook post summed it up this way –
Can’t even find the words to say enough about how much fun
The Patriots had at our hometown Plymouth reunion show on Saturday.
The crowd was incredible—. But even better, we got to catch up with so many awesome friends—a blessing, for sure.
A wonderful night full of laughter, hugs, and remembering.
Thank each and every one of you for making it special.
It was a great reminder of the awesome blessing that family, friends, and real community are.Sending a ton of love to Plymouth, NC.
The years may come and go. Memories lap like waves on the shore of time.
And life smiles with contentment.
